![]() I told him it is not water damage and no water has even come close to my laptop since I purchased it and he is making wrong dishonest assertions without any proof within a matter of minutes just by looking at some photos. I asked him how he deduced it is water damage, using what sensors and what methodology, he simply said by looking at the photos. I asked to have a conversation with the manager when he told the technician this is water damage and will not be covered under On-site warranty and I will have to change the motherboard. Then he wasn't sure what the issue is and said it "looks like" water damage and he will confirm it with his manager from the ASUS Authorized Service Provider and clicked a few photos and sent it to the manager via whatsapp (V***y k***r g***a from lotus computech). He made the assertion and stayed firm on that without looking at any logs of any kind. (Even though I had just told him it was not working for 1 day). ![]() On the 17th Feb 2022, a technician visited at around 2pm and opened the laptop, looked at it for a few minutes and told me that it looks like the laptop hasn't been working for 15-20 days.
